Xinhua Wang holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Southwest University of Political Science and Law and a Master of Laws degree from Soochow University. He passed the National Lawyer Qualification Examination in 1990, then joined Jiangxi Jiujiang Foreign-related Law Firm, where he successively served as Assistant to the Director and Deputy Director. In 1998, he was admitted to the Intensive Foreign Language Training Program for Foreign-related Economic Law sponsored by the Ministry of Justice. Upon completing the program the following year, he joined the Jiangxi Correspondent Station of Legal Daily as Deputy Director of its Legal Consultation Center.
At the end of 2000, he resigned from his public position. Together with other partners, he restructured Jiangxi Foreign-related Economic Law Firm into a partnership firm named Jiangxi Qiuzheng Law Firm. In 2003, upon the request of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Justice, Jiangxi Qiuzheng Law Firm merged with Jiangxi World Law Firm to establish Jiangxi QZ&WD Law Firm. Attorney Wang Xinhua is one of the founding partners of the firm.
With more than two decades of practice, Attorney Wang has acted as perennial legal counsel for dozens of enterprises and public institutions. He was a core member of the Legal Advisory Group of Jiujiang Municipal People’s Government, and handled legal matters for an investment promotion project worth over 150 million RMB for Jiujiang New Railway Station Square.
In litigation practice, Attorney Wang boasts solid legal theoretical foundations and extensive accumulated litigation experience. He has represented parties in first-instance, second-instance and retrial civil and commercial cases involving huge claim amounts before the Supreme People’s Court and Jiangxi Higher People’s Court on multiple occasions.
In 2015, Attorney Wang represented a client in a housing sales contract dispute before the Supreme People’s Court. The case went through retrial application and was taken up for trial by the Supreme People’s Court, ending with a favorable judgment that fully safeguarded the client’s legitimate rights and interests. Thanks to his profound theoretical expertise, the judgment of this case has recently been included in Selected Judgments of the Supreme People’s Court and Civil Trial Reference as a guiding case.
In the financial sector, Attorney Wang represented Jiangxi Securities Company in a securities infringement lawsuit against the Shanghai Stock Exchange heard by Shanghai Higher People’s Court. He has also appeared before the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) many times to handle foreign-related arbitration cases, fully protecting the lawful rights and interests of his principals.
Furthermore, he has acted as special-case attorney for Nanchang Commercial Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Jiangxi Branch, Jiujiang Branch and Shangrao Branch), Bank of Communications Nanchang Sub-branch, China Merchants Bank Jiangxi Branch, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Nanchang Branch and other financial institutions, and delivered highly effective representation for entrusted legal affairs.
